This body of work is from my 5 months in Ecuador. These images are from the following places: Cotopaxi National Park, Laguna de Cuicocha, Laguna de Quilotoa, Cascada de Peguche, The Amazon Rainforest near Tena, Vilcabamba, and various areas surrounding the capitol city of Quito.
None of the images were manipulated in photoshop. All of the effects are done in-camera.
This collection of photographs showcases the diverse beauty found in nature throughout Colorado by combining a vibrant kaleidoscope of colors, intricate layers, and mesmerizing textures, creating a psychedelic visual experience.
Using in-camera techniques, I create abstract depictions of the natural world without the use of digital manipulation. I like to push the boundaries of what’s possible to create with a camera, and without the use of photoshop. Intuition and presence are central to my creative process due to the immersive techniques that I implement. These images invite contemplation on our relationship with the environment and the interconnectedness of the universe.
This body of work was created from 2017-Present.
